The road signs on yellow background have a temporary character and are encountered on road sections where works are carried out on the carriageway.
The sign in the image is placed at 100-200 meters from the place where the road section begins to narrow on the right side (by at least half a meter).
When encountering this sign, the driver is obliged to reduce the speed, and the maneuvers of stopping, waiting, moving in reverse and U-turn are prohibited. The overtaking maneuver is allowed, but due to the narrowing of the road, there is enough lateral space only for overtaking bicycles, mopeds or motorcycles without sidecar.
In the case in which the lane on which you are driving narrows so much that you must enter another traffic lane or the opposite direction of traffic, you must give priority to those on the lane you want to enter or, as the case may be, to those who are driving in the opposite direction.
In the case in which the lane on which you are driving ends, you must give priority to those on the lane you want to enter.
On the narrowed road sections where two vehicles do not have room to move one next to the other, the priority will be regulated by the signs “Priority over oncoming traffic” and “Priority to oncoming traffic”.
