The road signs on yellow background have a temporary character and are encountered on the road sections where works are carried out on the carriageway.
The sign is placed at 100-200 meters from the place where the road section begins to narrow on both sides by at least half a meter.
When encountering this sign, the driver is obliged to reduce the speed, and the maneuvers of stopping, waiting, moving in reverse and U-turn are prohibited. The overtaking maneuver is permitted, but due to the narrowing of the road, there is enough lateral space only for overtaking bicycles, mopeds or motorcycles without sidecar.
On the road sections narrowed, where two vehicles do not have space to move one beside the other, the priority will be regulated through the signs „Priority over the traffic from the opposite direction” and „Priority for the traffic from the opposite direction”.
