This road sign is encountered on the narrowed road sections, where two vehicles do not have enough space to drive next to each other.
Driving in the direction of the white arrow, the driver of the vehicle will have priority over the vehicles that will drive from the opposite direction. Stopping, waiting, U-turn and moving in reverse are prohibited on the narrowed road section. Overtaking is permitted, but due to the narrowing of the road, there is enough lateral space only for overtaking bicycles, mopeds or motorcycles without sidecar.
It is preceded by one of the signs ”Road narrowed on both sides”, ”Road narrowed on the right side” or ”Road narrowed on the left side”.
At the other end of the narrowed road section the sign ”Priority for the traffic from opposite direction” is installed.
