The sign in the image is placed 100-200 meters from the place where the road section begins to narrow on the right side (by at least half a meter).
When encountering this sign the maneuvers of stopping, waiting, moving in reverse and U-turn are prohibited. The overtaking maneuver is permitted by the road legislation, but due to the narrowing of the road, it is possible that the lateral space allows only the overtaking of small-sized vehicles, such as bicycles, mopeds, motorcycles without a sidecar, etc.
If the lane on which you are driving narrows so much that you must enter another traffic lane or the opposite direction of traffic, you must give priority to those on the lane you want to enter or, as applicable, to those traveling in the opposite direction.
If the lane on which you are driving ends, you must give priority to those on the lane you want to enter.
On road sections that are narrowed, where there is not enough space for two vehicles to travel side by side, the priority will be regulated by the signs “Priority over oncoming traffic” and “Priority to oncoming traffic”.
