The sign in the image is installed at 100-200 meters from the place where the road section begins to narrow on the left side (by at least half a meter).
When encountering this sign the maneuvers of stopping, waiting, moving in reverse and U-turn are prohibited. The overtaking maneuver is permitted by the road legislation, but due to the narrowing of the road, it is possible that the lateral space allows only the overtaking of small-sized vehicles, such as bicycles, mopeds, motorcycles without sidecar, etc.
If the lane on which you are driving narrows so much that you must enter another traffic lane, you must give priority to those on the lane you want to enter. Priority will be given to the one whose lane does not narrow.
On road sections narrowed, where two vehicles do not have space to move side by side, the priority will be regulated by the signs “Priority over oncoming traffic” and “Priority to oncoming traffic”.
