Slippery road

It is installed at 100 - 200 meters from the dangerous place. The road can become slippery because of its pavement (e.g.: cobblestone in moisture conditions or the asphalt melting at very high temperatures), or because of atmospheric conditions warning that there is the possibility of skidding, therefore it will be taken into account also in the warm season its significance, when it seems that there would not be adherence problems.

These road sections are approached gently without jerking the steering or the brake, keeping an appropriate distance between vehicles

If the road is covered with black ice, packed snow, slush or wet cobblestone, the driver is obliged to reduce the speed to max. 30 km/h in the urban area and max. 50 km/h outside built-up area.

The Regulation for the implementation of OUG 192/2002 - Article 123

The driver of the vehicle is obliged to drive with a speed that does not exceed 30 km/h in localities or 50 km/h outside localities, in the following situations:

e) when the carriageway is covered with black ice, ice, packed snow, slush or wet cobblestone;
