“Bump for speed limitation”

Meaning (important information):

This sign warns that a bump follows placed on the carriageway with the intention of imposing speed reduction, these are also called “speed bumps” and are installed in the area of objectives with special character (such as: schools, hospitals etc.).

The sign “Bump for speed limitation” is preceded by the sign “Speed limit”, and in some cases both can be found installed on the same support. The traffic regulation obliges that when driving on uneven roads, signalled as such, you must drive with a speed that does not exceed 30 km/h in the urban area or 50 km/h outside built-up area.

When approaching a bump, with the intention of imposing speed reduction when passing in front of objectives with special character (schools, hospitals etc.) and it is preceded by the sign figure “Speed limit”.
