The road sign is encountered at 100-200 meters before the beginning of the road section, if the slope exceeds 7%. Although by applying the preventive driving rules the speed is reduced, by law, the reduction of speed is not mandatory.
Waiting is prohibited on the entire length of the slope, when visibility is reduced below 50 meters, all maneuvers are prohibited. In the situation in which the road conditions do not allow the passing of two vehicles, one beside the other, the slope priority rule applies, having priority the one who ascends compared to the one who descends.
