“No stopping”
When encountering this sign is prohibited the stopping of vehicles. The prohibition of stopping begins at the sign. When the sign is not accompanied by an additional panel, its area of action ends at the nearest intersection.
It may be accompanied by the additional panel “The beginning and the length of the area of action of the sign” for the purpose of specifying the place where the area of action of the sign begins as well as its length, expressed in meters.
It may also be accompanied by the additional panels “The beginning of the area of action of the sign”, “The confirmation of the area of action of the sign” and “The end of the area of action of the sign” (or it may have arrows with the same meaning inscribed on the panel) to mark the beginning, continuation or end of the area of action of the sign.
If the sign is accompanied by a marking consisting of a continuous longitudinal line that is materialized at the edge of the carriageway, stopping is prohibited along the entire length of that continuous line.
On the road sections on which the stopping of vehicles is prohibited. At the beginning of the prohibition section, the sign is accompanied by the additional panel “The beginning and the length of the area of action of the sign”. In its absence, the prohibition is valid up to the first intersection.
To specify the restricted section, the sign is accompanied by the additional panels “The beginning of the area of action of the sign”, “The confirmation of the area of action of the sign” and “The end of the area of action of the sign”.
Possible exceptions are written on the additional panels “The exemption of certain categories of vehicles from the meaning of the sign”.
In the area of action of this sign, because the stopping maneuver is prohibited, the road legislation also prohibits the maneuvers of waiting, U-turn and moving in reverse. The road legislation does not prohibit the maneuver of overtaking in the places where the stopping maneuver is prohibited.
