This sign prohibits the access of all vehicles on the road section at the end of which it is installed (not even bicycles, animal‑drawn vehicles or those pulled or pushed by hand are allowed, except for pedestrians).
In general, it is installed on one-way roads, on the direction where traffic is not allowed.
This sign may also be accompanied by an additional panel on which the categories of motor vehicles that are allowed to enter that specific road section are specified, to which no restriction applies.
