Access prohibited to pedestrians

This sign prohibits the access of pedestrians on the road section (area) at the end of which it is installed, either due to the lack of sidewalks, or near objectives with a special character (military units), or due to the existence of another possibility of crossing or passing the respective place (underground passages).

The sign operates only on the direction on which it was installed, to be valid on both directions it is installed on both sides of the road.

The road sign refers strictly to pedestrians, not to the drivers of vehicles.
