By aggressive behaviour is understood the performing, on the public road, by the driver of the vehicle:

A the maneuver of moving in reverse for the purpose of intimidating the other participants in traffic who move behind it;
B the maneuver of moving in reverse over a distance greater than 50 meters;
C the maneuver of turning the vehicle by using the parking brake.

It is prohibited to adopt aggressive behaviour in driving them on public roads. The maneuver of moving in reverse for the purpose of intimidation of the other participants in traffic who move behind it, as well as the maneuver of turning the vehicle by using the parking brake are considered to be aggressive behaviour, being prohibited the performing of these maneuvers on public roads.

The adoption of aggressive behaviour in driving vehicles on public roads is sanctioned with contravention fine, as follows:

  • if by adopting aggressive behaviour a traffic accident was produced from which resulted the damaging of a vehicle or other material damages (meaning a road accident without victims), the fine provided in class III of sanctions is applied and the suspension of the right to drive for a period of 60 days;
  • if by adopting aggressive behaviour NO traffic accident was produced, the fine provided in class II of sanctions is applied and the suspension of the right to drive for a period of 30 days.

For answer B

To the driver of the vehicle is prohibited to perform the maneuver of moving in reverse over a distance greater than 50 meters. The non‑observance of this prohibition is NOT considered to be aggressive behaviour but is sanctioned with the fine provided in class I of sanctions and with the application of 2 penalty points.
