Explanation

For answer  A

The road legislation does not provide the obligation to stop at signals addressed by local police officers. Since the year 2010 the term “community police” no longer exists in the normative acts in force. At this moment the term found in the normative acts in force is “local police”.

For answer  B

The road legislation does not provide that authorized staff from the examinations service can address stopping signals. Therefore, they cannot address stopping signals to the drivers of vehicles.

For answer  C

Besides the obligation to stop at the signals of the traffic police officer, the participants in traffic are obliged to stop immediately also at the signals addressed in this sense by the authorized staff from the area of works on public roads. The latter may make, besides stopping signals, also the following signals: the swinging of the arm in a vertical plane, with the palm of the hand oriented towards the ground or with a means of signalling, which signifies the reduction of speed, as well as the brisk rotation of the arm, which signifies the increase of the speed of movement of the vehicles, including the hastening of the crossing of the road by pedestrians. The non-observance of these signals is sanctioned with a fine provided in the second class of sanctions.

The correct answer is: C
