Question 760 of 802

Voluntary stopping is prohibited:

A in the intersections;
B on priority roads;
C on unlit road sections.

Explanation

For answer  A

Is prohibited the voluntary stopping of vehicles in the intersections, including those with traffic in a roundabout, as well as in the preselections area where continuous markings are applied, and in the absence of these markings, at a distance less than 25 meters from the corner of the intersection.

For answer  B

Traffic legislation does not provide that on priority roads the voluntary stopping of vehicles is prohibited.

For answer  C

On unlit road sections it is not prohibited the voluntary stopping of vehicles in any conditions. Stopping is prohibited on unlit roads if the vehicle has all lights turned off. As long as the vehicle has the position lights or parking lights on, or if it is daytime, stopping is not prohibited.

Recommendations:
The places where the stopping maneuver is prohibited - Audio-Video Lesson --> Traffic Code - Stopping, waiting and parking
The correct use of the lighting and signalling system --> Traffic Code - The technical condition of vehicles and the lighting and luminous signalling system
