Explanation

When you want to cross an intersection and you encounter the sign “Give way”, you have the obligation to reduce the speed and to make sure that on the priority road no other vehicles are circulating at that moment.

If vehicles come from the priority road, you must stop and give them priority. Priority is given regardless of whether it concerns motor vehicles (cars, trucks, etc.) or simple vehicles (bicycles, scooters, etc.). Only after you have made sure that from the priority road no other vehicles are coming, you may enter the intersection and continue your movement safely.

If in the intersection no additional panels are installed to indicate the direction of the priority road, the transversal road is the priority road and you must give priority both to the vehicles coming from the left side and to those coming from the right side.

It must be known that there are situations in which, depending on the direction in which you want to circulate, you have or do not have the obligation to give priority also to the vehicles coming from the opposite direction. For example, if in such an intersection, encountering the sign “Give way”, you want to circulate straight ahead or to perform a right turn, you will give priority to all vehicles coming from the transversal road. However, if you want to perform a left turn, besides the obligation to give priority to all vehicles coming from the transversal road, you must also give priority to the vehicles coming from the opposite direction and circulating straight ahead or to the right (their right), because during the left turn they come from your right side.

The correct answer is: B
