Question 260 of 554

In which of the following situations is prohibited the drivers of vehicles to execute the left turn at the green colour light of the electric traffic light?

A when they encounter the sign “Straight ahead or left”;
B when they are on a one-way street;
C when they encounter the sign “Straight ahead or right”.

Explanation

For answer  A

If next to the green colour traffic light the sign “Straight ahead or left” is encountered, you are obliged to move only in the directions straight ahead or left, therefore the left turn is NOT prohibited for you when encountering the sign “Straight ahead or left”.

For answer  B

On streets with one-way traffic you are allowed to execute turns to the left or right, if the road signalling does not prohibit this. Therefore the left turn is NOT prohibited for you on one-way streets.

For answer  C

If next to the green colour traffic light the sign “Straight ahead or right” is encountered, you are obliged to move only in the directions straight ahead or right, the left turn being prohibited.
