Question 19 of 554

How must it be proceeded on narrow and/or steep public roads, where the passing of vehicles that move from opposite directions, one next to the other, is impossible or dangerous?

A in the case of meeting a vehicle for public transport of persons with one for transport of goods, the driver of the one for transport of goods must maneuver in reverse;
B in the case of meeting a combination of vehicles with a vehicle, the driver of the combination of vehicles must maneuver in reverse;
C in the case of meeting a heavy vehicle with a light vehicle, the driver of the heavy vehicle must maneuver in reverse.

Explanation

For answer  A

In the situation in which on narrow and/or steep public roads a vehicle that performs public transport of persons meets a vehicle for transport of goods, and the passing of both vehicles one next to the other is impossible or dangerous, the driver of the vehicle that performs transport of goods will maneuver in reverse to make possible the passing of the one that performs public transport of persons.

For answer  B

In the case of meeting a combination of vehicles with a vehicle, the driver of the vehicle must maneuver in reverse to make possible the passing of the one of the combination of vehicles. However, in answer B it is specified that “the driver of the combination must maneuver in reverse”, which is wrong and this answer option cannot be correct.

For answer  C

In the case of meeting a heavy vehicle with a light vehicle, the driver of the light vehicle must maneuver in reverse to make possible the passing of the heavy vehicle. However, in answer C it is specified that “the driver of the heavy vehicle must maneuver in reverse”, which is wrong and this answer option cannot be correct.
