It is possible that in the case of answer A a confusion is made between the prohibition of overtaking and the prohibition of stopping in the area of tram, trolleybus or bus stations. The road traffic legislation does not prohibit overtaking, but prohibits voluntary stopping at less than 25 meters before and after stations.
Therefore, although voluntary stopping is prohibited in these areas so as not to hinder the movement of public transport means, the road traffic legislation does not provide for the prohibition of overtaking in the same conditions.
Another confusion could be created when it is assumed that if stopping is prohibited, overtaking would automatically be prohibited as well, which is not correct.
It is important to mention that the prohibition of voluntary stopping does not automatically entail the prohibition of overtaking. Where stopping is prohibited, the overtaking maneuver is, as a rule, allowed if there is no other prohibition. Instead, where overtaking is prohibited, voluntary stopping is prohibited by the road traffic legislation, because a stopping in a place where overtaking is not allowed would force the drivers of the other vehicles that move from behind to perform the overtaking maneuver (which is prohibited) and thus an additional danger would be created for traffic safety.
Therefore, answer A cannot be correct.
The road traffic legislation prohibits the overtaking of vehicles near the crests of slopes, when the visibility is reduced under 50 meters. This prohibition has the purpose of preventing road accidents, since at the crest of a slope it cannot be seen whether the road is free, not being possible to make sure for performing the maneuver. If the visibility is under 50 meters, there is no time and space necessary to perform the overtaking safely.
It is possible that in the case of answer C a mistake is made by confusing the prohibition of waiting with an assumed prohibition of overtaking on the roads with a width smaller than 6 meters. The road traffic legislation prohibits voluntary waiting on these roads, in order to avoid blocking the traffic, but does not prohibit overtaking.
It is important that the distinction is made. The fact that you are not allowed to wait because of the reduced width of the road does not mean that you are not allowed to overtake. The road traffic legislation does not automatically prohibit the overtaking maneuver where the voluntary waiting is prohibited.
