Exceeding by more than 20 km/h the maximum permitted speed, whether or not this is done repeatedly, is sanctioned with a contravention fine and with the application of penalty points, depending on the value by which the maximum speed limit was exceeded.
Sanctioning with the suspension of the exercise of the right to drive for a period of 90 or 120 days and with the contravention fine provided in the 4th class of sanctions is applied for exceeding the maximum permitted speed by more than 50 km/h respectively by more than 70 km/h.
Failure to stop or failure to respect the meaning of the regulatory signals of the railway agents who direct traffic at level crossings with the railway is sanctioned with the fine provided in the 4th class of sanctions and with the application of 6 penalty points. For this contravention the suspension of the exercise of the right to drive is not also applied.
The exercise of the right to drive is suspended for a period of 30 days, plus the fine provided in the 2nd class of sanctions, in the case of failure to present within 24 hours at the competent police unit in whose area a traffic accident occurred from which only the damaging of the vehicle resulted (accident without victims).
From this obligation to present oneself at the competent police unit in whose area the accident occurred within a maximum of 24 hours from the occurrence of the event, the road legislation provides the following exceptions:

b) to present themselves at the competent police unit in whose area the accident occurred within a maximum of 24 hours from the occurrence of the event for the preparation of the ascertainment documents.
(2) Are excepted from the obligations provided in paragraph (1) letter b)*):
a) the drivers of the vehicles who conclude an amiable accident report, under the conditions of the law;
b) the driver of a vehicle who holds an optional insurance for vehicle damage, and the traffic accident resulted only in the damaging of his own vehicle.
