  4. increase of reaction time: Decisions are delayed, which can lead to accidents;
  5. decrease of reflexes and accuracy: The fine motor skills of the driver of the vehicle are affected, which makes maneuvering the vehicle difficult;
  6. underestimation of risks: The dangers in traffic are ignored or treated superficially.

The stages of alcohol consumption:

  • the first stage: the driver of the vehicle has a false impression of confidence and believes that he can control the vehicle better than usual;
  • the second stage: confusion appears, and the maneuvering of the vehicle becomes unstable, with movement in zigzag;
  • the third stage: the driver of the vehicle completely loses the ability to control the vehicle.

The relationship between blood alcohol level and accident risk:

At a blood alcohol concentration of:
(‰ (per mille) or in other words 0.3 grams of pure alcohol per liter of blood)
 0.3 ‰ (per mille) - the risk of causing an accident already appears;
 0.5 ‰ (per mille) - the accident risk doubles;
 0.8 ‰ (per mille) - the accident risk increases 10 times;
 1.2 ‰ (per mille) - the accident risk is 35 times greater;

A bottle of beer 500 ml / 4% - 5% alcohol concentration 0.15 - 0.20 %
A glass of wine 200ml / 10% - 12% alcohol concentration 0.20 - 0.25 %
A glass of țuică 200ml / 25% alcohol concentration 0.40 - 0.50 %
A glass of brandy 200ml / 50% alcohol concentration 1 %
