In the situation in which you encounter a bus stopped in a station you are allowed to perform the maneuver of overtaking it, but you must make sure, signal the intention and respect all the rules regarding performing the overtaking maneuver. From the point of view of preventive conduct it is recommended to increase attention because some pedestrians may cross the road in front of the bus without making sure.


For answers  B  and  C 

Answer variants B and C would have been correct if it were about a tram, but in this case it is about a bus.

(1) The driver of a vehicle who performs overtaking is obliged:
a) to make sure that the one who follows or precedes him has not signalled the intention of starting a similar maneuver and that he can overtake without endangering or without hindering the traffic from the opposite direction;
b) to signal the intention of performing the overtaking;
c) to keep during overtaking a sufficient lateral distance from the overtaken vehicle;
d) to return to the lane or to the initial line of traffic after he has signalled and made sure that he can perform this maneuver in safety conditions for the overtaken vehicle and for the other participants in traffic.

(1) Is prohibited the overtaking of vehicles:
