Question 988 of 1208

What is the crossing order through the presented intersection?

A the motorcycle, the car, the truck;
B the truck, the car, the motorcycle;
C the car, the motorcycle, the truck.

Explanation

The intersection in the image is one in which the traffic is controlled with regulatory priority signs. Even if only on the road without priority regulatory priority signs are installed, namely the “Give way” sign, this intersection is one with controlled traffic.

We draw attention that such intersections in which the regulatory priority signs are installed only on the road or, as the case may be, on the roads without priority are also encountered in reality, these being intersections with controlled traffic.

The truck comes from the road without priority, encountering the “Give way” sign, and must give priority to the car and the motorcycle, these coming from the priority road.

The car and the motorcycle come from the priority road, but because the motorcycle wants to turn left, it must give the car priority, because during the left turn, the car comes to it from the right.

Therefore, the crossing order is the following: the car will pass first, followed by the motorcycle, and the last to pass through this intersection will be the truck.

The correct answer is: C
