GENERAL Learning Environment Category B (B, B1)
Question 918 of 1208

Specify when driving instructors are exempt from wearing the seat belt:

A during the trainees’ training hours;
B permanently, when they are in motor vehicles with the inscription “ȘCOALA”;
C legally, it is not provided.

Explanation

The drivers of motor vehicles and agricultural or forestry tractors and the persons who occupy seats provided by construction with approved seat belts or safety devices must wear them during driving on public roads, regardless of whether they occupy the front or rear seats of the motor vehicle and regardless of whether they drive in the urban area or outside built-up area.

However, the road legislation provides certain exceptions from the obligation to wear the seat belt; among the exceptions are the driving instructors, during the practical training of the persons who are learning to drive a motor vehicle on public roads, or the examiner of the competent authority during the performance of the practical tests of the exam for obtaining the driving licence, these being exempt from this obligation.

The correct answer is: A

Recommendations:

The rules that must be respected when transporting children - Audio-Video Lesson --> Obligations and prohibitions regarding the transport of children
