The driver of the vehicle involved in a traffic accident following which only the damaging of the vehicles and/or other material damages resulted (without victims), is obliged to remove immediately the vehicle outside the carriageway or, if the condition of the vehicle does not allow this, to move it as close as possible to the curb or shoulder, signalling its presence and to present themselves to the competent police unit in whose area the accident occurred within a period of no more than 24 hours from the occurrence of the event for drawing up the ascertainment documents.
To this obligation to present yourselves to the competent police unit in whose area the accident occurred within a period of no more than 24 hours from the occurrence of the event, the following exceptions are provided:
