Question 218 of 1208

In which of the following situations is prohibited the drivers of vehicles to execute the left turn at the green colour of the electric traffic light?

A when they encounter the “Straight ahead or left” sign;
B when they are on a one-way street;
C when they encounter the “Straight ahead or right” sign.

Explanation

For answer  A

If next to the green traffic light the “Straight ahead or left” sign is encountered, you have the obligation to move only on the straight ahead or left directions, therefore the left turn is NOT prohibited to you when encountering the “Straight ahead or left” sign.

For answer  B

On streets with one-way traffic you are allowed to execute left or right turns, if the road signalling does not prohibit this. Therefore the left turn is NOT prohibited to you on one-way streets.

For answer  C

If next to the green traffic light the “Straight ahead or right” sign is encountered, you have the obligation to move only on the straight ahead or right directions, the left turn being prohibited.
