Question 618 of 1208

Taking out the baton on the side by the traffic police officer who accompanies an official convoy obliges the driver:

A to reduce speed and to stop outside the road as soon as it is possible;
B to reduce speed and to drive as close as possible to the edge of the road;
C to stop the motor vehicle as close as possible to the edge of the road.

Explanation

The convoy with priority regime will always have in operation special audible and light warning signals red colour, these oblige the traffic participants to stop in the direction of travel as close as possible to the edge of the road, and when it is encountered at the intersections, has the obligation to give priority.

Therefore, when you encounter an official convoy, regardless of whether the traffic police officer who accompanies the convoy takes out or not the reflective baton, you have the obligation to stop immediately the motor vehicle as close as possible to the right edge of the road.

The correct answer is: C
