The special blue light warning signal, together with the sound signal, obliges the participants in traffic to give priority. Among the vehicles on which such special blue warning lights may be mounted are also the vehicles belonging to the police, the gendarmerie and the border police.
To give priority you must reduce the driving speed and drive as close as possible to the edge of the road, in the direction of travel, more exactly as close as possible to the curb or to the shoulder on the right side.
In the event that, for giving priority, it is necessary also to stop, you must do it. A good example would be the intersections in which stopping is needed in order to be able to give priority to these motor vehicles with priority traffic regime.
