Regardless of whether the tunnel is or is not properly illuminated, when entering it you are NOT required to honk. This is not prohibited, but it does not help in this case. Audible warning means are used to avoid an immediate danger.
When you enter a tunnel you are obliged to switch on the low‑beam headlights, regardless of whether it is or is not properly illuminated and regardless of whether you drive during the day or at night.
Although traffic legislation has been updated and at this moment it is mandatory that during daytime driving on all categories of public roads the low‑beam headlights (short beam) or the daytime running lights (DRL) be used, the answer to this question remains correct and according to the legislation.
To understand this rule better, we give the following example: A driver of a motor vehicle drives during the daytime, in normal conditions, in which case he is obliged to put into operation either the low‑beam headlights (that is the short beam), or the daytime running lights (DRL), as he considers, or may even use both at the same time. But if he drives through a tunnel, the option to choose to use the daytime running lights (DRL) instead of the low‑beam headlights (short beam) is no longer valid because traffic legislation provides that in this case it is mandatory to use the low‑beam headlights (short beam), without leaving the option to use the daytime running lights (DRL) instead of the low‑beam headlights.
More information about the obligation to drive also during the daytime with the low‑beam headlights or with the daytime running lights in operation can be found here - The obligation to use the low‑beam headlights (short beam) or the DRL lights during daytime.
Regardless of whether the tunnel is or is not properly illuminated, it is NOT necessary to switch on the intermittent warning light, more exactly the hazard warning lights. When it comes to driving through tunnels, the hazard warning lights will be used in the situation in which you remain broken down in them, with the obligation to stop the engine and to install the reflective triangles.
The correct answer is: B
Traffic legislation does not provide anything in this respect.
