In the situation in which you drive in the area of the occurrence of an accident investigated by the police, you must continue your movement with attention, respecting the indications of the traffic police officer. It must be known that in the case in which you encounter the sign “Accident” you have the obligation to drive with maximum 30 km/h in the urban area or 50 km/h outside the urban area.
In such situations you must drive with attention and reduced speed, not with increased speed. The speed will be increased only at the signal of the traffic police officer who investigates the accident, through the brisk rotation of the arm.
Stopping at the place of the accident is not recommended, to see what happened, as long as the police is already at the place of the accident, thus avoiding an even greater congestion of the area. But it must be known that any person who has knowledge about a road accident following which one or more persons were injured has the obligation to notify the police and to call the single emergency number 112.
