Art. 53.
(1) When the yellow colour signal appears after the green colour signal, the driver of the vehicle who approaches the intersection must not pass the places provided in art. 52 paragraph (2), except for the situation in which, at the appearance of the signal, he is so close to those places that he could no longer stop the vehicle in safety conditions.
(2) The intermittent yellow colour signal allows the passing, the driver of a vehicle being obliged to travel with reduced speed, to respect the meaning of the road signalling and of the traffic rules applicable in that place.
