OUG = GOVERNMENT EMERGENCY ORDINANCE no. 195 of December 12, 2002 (Road Traffic Code)
Regulation = REGULATION for the implementation of OUG 195/2002 (Road Traffic Code Regulation)
(1) Is prohibited the overtaking of vehicles:
b) near the tops of the uphill, when visibility is reduced below 50 m;
c) in curves and in any other places where visibility is reduced below 50 m;
Is prohibited the voluntary stopping of vehicles:
d) in curves and in other places with visibility reduced below 50 m;
p) in the places where overtaking is prohibited.
Is prohibited the voluntary waiting of vehicles:
a) in all cases where voluntary stopping is prohibited;
e) on downhills and on uphills;

ATTENTION !
Is prohibited the waiting on the entire length of the uphill and of the downhill (art. 143 letter e of the Regulation).
When visibility is less than 50 meters at the top of the uphill / downhill, on both sides, the following maneuvers are prohibited (art. 142 letter d of the Regulation):
Is prohibited the overtaking of vehicles near the tops of the uphill, when visibility is reduced below 50 m. Therefore, overtaking is prohibited uphill (when climbing), when visibility is reduced below 50 m, but it is not prohibited downhill (when descending). Art. 120 letter b of the Regulation).
