A PSD deputy submitted to the Senate a legislative initiative through which he wants to modify the maximum travel speed on the national roads, within built-up area, from 50 km/h to 60 km/h, excepting the towns and the municipalities. See VIDEO below!

The regulation would reduce “significantly” the transport time of the goods, thus it would help the carriers and the investors, he also says.

“For the rest of the traffic participants, natural persons, the reduction of the time spent behind the wheel will have as a result the reduction of fatigue and, as a result, a lower probability of the occurrence of some events in traffic”, says the deputy.
