Level crossing with a single railway, without barriers

It is encountered at 6 -10 metres from a level crossing with the single railway, without barriers.

When encountering this sign, the driver of the vehicle is obliged to stop to make sure that at that moment no railway vehicle is moving. Attention, the stop for ensuring is mandatory regardless of whether at that moment any railway vehicle is or is not moving.

The stop will be made in the order of arrival, in the place where there is maximum visibility over the railway, but without passing the sign or, as the case may be, before the stopping marking, if such a marking is applied.

This sign can be provided with an automatic light signalling installation, in this case the driver can cross the railway only if the signal with red lights is off and the signal with the white intermittent light with slow cadence is operating.
