Marking the lanes for pedestrians from those intended for bicycles

Name:

“Marking the lanes for pedestrians from those intended for bicycles”

Meaning (important information):

This sign is addressed both to pedestrians and to the drivers of bicycles or electric scooters. It is encountered on the carriageway or even on the sidewalk, at the beginning of the marked lanes, for pedestrians and for bicycles. When encountering this sign, the pedestrians and the drivers of bicycles or electric scooters are obliged to move only on the specific lane for the category to which they belong, the pedestrians on the lane for pedestrians and the bicycles and the electric scooters on the lane for bicycles.

Placement (additional information):

At the ends of the lanes for pedestrians and those for bicycles, located adjacent, separated by a visible means on the carriageway (buttons, markings etc.).

Other useful information (additional information):

It creates obligations for the drivers of vehicles (bicycles and electric scooters) and for pedestrians. If in that area there is such a lane marked and signalled as such, they have the obligation to move only on the specific lane for the category to which they belong.
