The signs shown is installed at the entrance to residential areas.
These are areas with mixed traffic, both pedestrian and motor vehicle, which obliges the drivers to drive with a speed of at most 20 km/h.
Art. 158. of the Regulation:
(1) In the residential area, signalled as such, the pedestrians may use the entire width of the carriageway, and the children’s play is permitted.
(2) The drivers of vehicles are obliged to drive with a speed of at most 20 km/h, to not wait or park the vehicle outside the spaces specially designated and signalled as such, to not hinder or impede the pedestrians’ traffic even if, for this purpose, they must stop.
