The driver of the vehicle (including the tractor driver) involved in a traffic accident in which only the damaging of the vehicles and/or other material damage resulted (without victims), is obliged to immediately take the vehicle off the carriageway or, if the condition of the vehicle does not allow this, to move it as close as possible to the curb or shoulder, signalling its presence and to present himself at the competent police unit in the area where the accident occurred within no more than 24 hours from the occurrence of the event for the drafting of the report documents.

• the drivers of the vehicles who conclude an amicable accident report, under the conditions of the law;

OUG* - Article 79

(1) The drivers of vehicles involved in a traffic accident in which only the damaging of the vehicles and/or other material damage resulted are obliged:
a) to immediately take the vehicles off the carriageway or, if the condition of the vehicles does not allow this, to move them as close as possible to the curb or shoulder, signalling their presence;
b) to present themselves at the competent police unit in the area where the accident occurred within no more than 24 hours from the occurrence of the event for the drafting of the report documents.
(2) The following are excepted from the obligations provided in paragraph (1) letter b)*):
a) the drivers of the vehicles who conclude an amicable accident report, under the conditions of the law;
b) the driver of a vehicle who holds optional auto damage insurance, and the traffic accident resulted only in the damaging of his own vehicle.
