The road legislation provides that when on the traffic lanes there are markings with lane selection arrows you move into position on the traffic lane corresponding to the intended direction of travel at least 50 meters before the intersection.
However, when you travel on a road with two traffic lanes on the direction of travel wanting to change the direction of travel to the right, and on those lanes there are no markings with lane selection arrows, you must move into position on the right lane at least 50 meters before the intersection. It is wrong from the point of view of safety and traffic flow efficiency to move into position on the left lane in order to make a right turn. If you move into position on the left lane you must give priority to those on the right lane because you will enter their lane when you turn to the right and you must respect the rules regarding lane travel.
