Question 637 of 802

Which of the cars in the image are driving correctly in the intersection?

A the purple car and the red one;
B the blue car and the red one;
C all four cars.

Explanation

In this intersection with roundabout traffic:

  • the yellow car, wishing to make a U-turn, has correctly moved into traffic lane number two;
  • the blue car, turning to the left, has correctly moved into traffic lane number two;
  • the red car, wishing to drive straight ahead, has correctly moved into traffic lane number 1;
  • the purple car, wishing to turn on the first street to the right, has correctly moved into traffic lane number 1.

Therefore, all the cars are driving correctly in this intersection with roundabout traffic. But these must respect the rules regarding signalling the change of direction of travel, giving priority when changing the traffic lane and giving priority when entering the roundabout.
