Question 486 of 802

What is the passing order through the intersection shown?

A the motorcycle, the car, the truck;
B the truck, the car, the motorcycle;
C the car, the motorcycle, the truck.

Explanation

The intersection in the picture is one where the traffic is directed with regulatory priority signs. Even if only on the road without priority there are installed regulatory priority signs, more precisely the sign “Give way”, this intersection is one with directed traffic.

We draw attention that such intersections in which the regulatory priority signs are found installed only on the road or, as the case may be, on the roads without priority are also encountered in reality, these being intersections with directed traffic.

The truck comes from the road without priority, encountering the sign “Give way”, and must give priority to the car and the motorcycle, these coming from the priority road.

The car and the motorcycle come from the priority road, but for the motorcycle which wishes to turn left, it must give the car priority of passage, because during the left turn, the car comes from its right side.

Therefore, the passing order is the following: first will pass the car, followed by the motorcycle, and last through this intersection will pass the truck.

The correct answer is: C
