The driver of the motor vehicle is prohibited to circulate with the motor vehicle having the license plates or registration plates not compliant with the standards in force. Failure to comply with this prohibition is considered a contravention and will be sanctioned with the contravention fine provided in class I of sanctions, with the retention of the license plates or registration plates for their confiscation and with the retention of the registration certificate or recording certificate.
The circulation of vehicles is not prohibited if their windshield has cracks.
The circulation of motor vehicles is not prohibited if these have devices installed for detecting the presence of radar equipment, these devices being allowed by road traffic legislation. We must make the difference between “devices for detecting the presence of radar equipment”, meaning radar detectors, which are allowed, and “devices that disrupt the functioning of the technical means of traffic surveillance”, meaning ANTI‑radar devices, which are prohibited.
