In the situation where a vehicle and a combination of vehicles meet on narrow public roads and/or with declivity, and the passing of both vehicles one next to the other is impossible or dangerous, the driver of the vehicle will maneuver in reverse to make possible the passing of the combination of vehicles.

Regulation** - Article 127
(1) On narrow public roads and/or with declivity, where the passing of vehicles circulating from opposite directions, one next to the other, is impossible or dangerous, it is proceeded as follows:
a) at the meeting of a combination of vehicles with a vehicle, the driver of the latter must maneuver in reverse;
b) at the meeting of a heavy vehicle with a light vehicle, the driver of the latter must maneuver in reverse;
c) at the meeting of a vehicle transporting the public of persons with a vehicle transporting goods, the driver of the latter must maneuver in reverse.
(2) In the case of vehicles of the same category, the obligation to perform a maneuver of moving in reverse falls to the driver who is going uphill, except when it is easier and there are conditions for the driver who is going downhill to perform this maneuver, especially when they are close to a refuge.
