You are not obliged to drive as close as possible to the right edge of the road when encountering a vehicle that travels at night, from the opposite direction, whether the road is illuminated or not. It is possible that you confuse this situation with the situation in which you are overtaken by another vehicle, in which case you are obliged to drive as close as possible to the right edge of the carriageway or of the lane on which you move and not to increase the driving speed. • at night, when another motor vehicle travels in front of us, on the same direction of travel as us, we will use the meeting lights from at least 100 meters from it, without also being mandatory to reduce the speed.
