Question 156 of 802

Can the motor vehicles be overtaken on the right side?

A no, in no situation;
B yes, if the lateral space between the vehicles allows this;
C yes, in the case of vehicles that are about to turn left, and the remaining space allows overtaking on the right side.

Explanation

Overtaking is carried out, as a rule, on the left side of the overtaken vehicle. However, the vehicle that has signalled and has moved into position correctly for leaving the direction of travel to the left is overtaken on the right side, provided that the remaining space available allows performing this maneuver.

We must take into account that enough space must be created to be able to overtake these vehicles on the right side, and if there is not enough space, it is not allowed to climb, even partially, onto the sidewalk

.

The correct answer is: C
