Explanation

At the uncontrolled intersection of two roads of different categories the priority to the right rule does not apply, priority will be given to the vehicles that move on “the superior road”.

The priority to the right rule will be applied in the uncontrolled intersection if the roads that intersect are of the same category (for example two communal roads or two streets in a city). If the roads that intersect are of different categories, priority will be given to the vehicles that move on “the superior road”.

Therefore, when you come from a local road and you want to enter a communal road, you have the obligation to give priority to the vehicles that move on the communal road.

The categories of roads can be identified by the presence of different types of kilometer signs (kilometer markers) having different colours depending on the category of the road. Red for national road, blue for county road and yellow for communal road.
