Explanation

Respiratory arrest is represented by the sudden stopping of pulmonary activity, it is also known as asphyxia. Injured persons can enter respiratory arrest, this can be caused by the blockage of the airways (nose and mouth). To check a victim's breathing, a sheet of paper can be used, which is placed above the nostrils and if the injured person breathes it will move, or a mirror that will fog up if the victim breathes.

The correct answer is: C
