Participants in traffic must respect the traffic rules, the signals, the indications and the instructions of the traffic police officer, as well as the meaning of the different types of means of road signalling, in the following order of priority:

• the signals, the indications and the instructions of the traffic police officer will be respected with priority compared to all the other means of signalling (these having the highest degree of priority);

• in the absence of the road signs, we will respect with priority the road markings;
• in the absence of the road markings, we will respect with priority the traffic rules.
