Explanation

For answer  A

According to the road legislation, stopping on the sidewalk is permitted only in the places where the road signalling explicitly indicates the permission to perform this maneuver. In these situations, it is obligatory to ensure a minimum portion of 1 meter of the width of the sidewalk for the movement of pedestrians. If this portion is not left free for pedestrians, the stopping cannot be carried out lawfully.

For answer  B

Even if on the sidewalk there are areas marked and signalled for stopping, the voluntary stopping is permitted only if the condition of ensuring a corridor of at least 1 meter for the movement of pedestrians is also fulfilled. However, answer B does not explicitly mention the obligation to ensure this minimum space for pedestrians, which is why it cannot be considered correct.

For answer  C

Although stopping on the sidewalk is generally prohibited, there are exceptions regulated through the arrangements made by the road administrator which allow stopping in certain areas. Therefore, answer C cannot be considered correct because it does not take into account the exceptions permitted by the legislation.

The correct answer is: A
