When you encounter motor vehicles with priority traffic regime which have in operation the special warning means with red colour light and the sound ones, you are obliged to stop immediately the car on the hard shoulder or, in its absence, as close as possible to the edge of the road or the curb of the sidewalk, in the direction of travel. After their passing you can continue your travel.
We must know that these motor vehicles with priority traffic regime are allowed to use the light signals without being accompanied by the sound ones, depending on the nature of the mission or on the traffic conditions, a situation in which the respective motor vehicle does not have priority traffic regime. But the reverse situation, to use only the sound signals without being accompanied by the light ones, is not allowed to them.
We recommend you to also consult the articles from the updated traffic legislation which are found a little further below.
