It is strictly prohibited by law the possession, installation or use in traffic on public roads of devices that disturb the normal functioning of speed measuring devices, also called ANTI-RADAR.
On the other hand, the devices for detecting radar devices, also called RADAR DETECTOR are allowed by law. Radar detectors only warn the driver about the existence of a RADAR type device in the area, without disturbing its proper functioning, disturbance that has the purpose of preventing the measurement of the travel speed of the respective speed measuring vehicle.
It must be remembered that the road legislation allows the use of radar detectors, but prohibits the use of anti-radars
The road legislation does NOT prohibit equipping motor vehicles with navigation systems.
The road legislation allows equipping motor vehicles with anti-theft sound systems. But it must be known that the regulations impose certain conditions, such as, for example, the duration of the sound signal must not exceed more than one consecutive minute. Failure to comply with these regulations is considered a contravention and is sanctioned with the fine provided in the fourth class of sanctions.
