Explanation

For answer  A

The road legislation prohibits the U-turn of the vehicle on the pedestrian marking. Moreover, the U-turn of vehicles is prohibited where stopping and overtaking vehicles is prohibited, and these maneuvers are prohibited on pedestrian crossings or at less than 25 meters before and after them, thus in these places the U-turn of the vehicle is also prohibited.

For answer  B

It is important not to confuse two completely different situations regarding the prohibition of the U-turn.

The road legislation does not expressly prohibit the U-turn only because the road presents unevenness. If the maneuver can be carried out safely and there are no other signaled prohibitions, the U-turn is permitted.

Instead, the legislation prohibits the U-turn in places where the solidity of the road does not allow performing the maneuver safely. For example, if the edge of the road is unstable, with risk of collapse or sliding, the U-turn becomes dangerous and therefore prohibited.

In conclusion, the presence of unevenness does not automatically mean the prohibition of the U-turn, but the lack of road stability does. They are two different situations and must not be confused.

For answer  C

The road legislation does not expressly prohibit the U-turn on roads located on a slope (downhill).

However, this situation can be easily confused with the U-turn on uphill roads, where there is a prohibition under certain conditions.

The U-turn is prohibited in places where voluntary stopping is prohibited (with the exception of intersections), and stopping is prohibited in areas where overtaking is prohibited. Thus, because overtaking is prohibited near the tops of uphill roads when visibility is reduced below 50 meters, the U-turn maneuver is also prohibited.

Therefore, answer C cannot be correct and, even if the question had referred to a road on an uphill, it still would not have been correct, because it does not specify whether visibility is below or above 50 meters, a determining condition to establish the prohibition.

The correct answer is: A
